KENT, ROCKWELL. The bookplate of John Whiting & Helen Otillie Friel. Printed in Philadelphia by the Brownell Photo-Lithograph Company in 1953. A lovely Rockwell Kent design in black, white and grey. Unusual is the fact that it is printed on a heavier weight paper than is customarily the case. A handsome production in fine condition.
This bookplate was produced in four sizes. In the largest format (offered here), this plate is the biggest that Kent produced, being 8.25” by 6.125”. $100 (+ shipping)
